3.3 Information that stays on your device

Your onboarding answers (goals, preferred times and session length), favorites, recently played programs, NeuroMatrix progress, theme and layout settings are stored on your device. Uninstalling the app removes them. Our analytics (section 3.2) receive the goal you picked and the programs you play, without your name or contact details, so we can see which programs help people most. We never pass your goals or the programs you play to advertising partners.

Reminders (for example, a reminder before your free trial ends, or when NeuroMatrix opens) are scheduled on your device. We do not currently collect push notification tokens.

3.4 What we do not collect

We do not collect your name, contacts, precise location, photos, microphone recordings or health records. We do not ask for or record information about medical conditions.

3.5 Data from Sign in with Google

If you choose Sign in with Google, Google shares your Google account identifier, email address and basic profile (name and picture) with us, using the standard sign-in permissions (openid, email, profile). We do not request access to anything else in your Google account, such as Gmail, Drive, Contacts or Calendar.

We store only your Google account identifier and email address, and use them only to sign you in, keep your account and Premium on every device, and reply if you contact us. We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties except our hosting provider, which stores it on our behalf. We do not use it to train AI or machine learning models.

Neuronix’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can remove Neuronix’s access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions and delete your account as described in section 11.

We do not sell your personal information for money.

6. International transfers

Our servers are in the European Union (Finland), and several of our providers are in the United States. When we transfer personal information from the UK, Canada, Australia or New Zealand to other countries, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or Standard Contractual Clauses, and on our providers’ contractual commitments to protect it.

7. Advertising measurement and your choices

When you install Neuronix after seeing one of our ads, Meta and Singular help us learn which ad led to the install and whether you later started a trial or subscription. To do this they receive your device’s advertising identifier, IP address, device information and the names of events such as “app installed”, “onboarding finished” or “trial started” — never which goals you chose or which programs you listen to.

Under some US state laws (for example California), sharing this information for cross-context behavioral advertising can count as “sharing” or “selling” personal information. You can opt out at any time:

8. How long we keep information

Information How long

Sign-in sessions Up to 12 months of inactivity, then they expire

When you delete your account, we delete your account, identities and subscription records from our servers within 30 days. Apple and Google keep their own purchase records under their policies.

9. Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed sign-in tokens and codes, signed short-lived links for audio, and access controls on our servers. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your rights

We will answer within the time your local law requires (usually 30 days, 45 days in California). We may need to confirm your identity first. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16. You may use an authorized agent. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our answer.
